Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Biozy ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including users with free accounts and paid subscribers.
We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Your account
Creating an account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at security@biozy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
One account per person
Each person may maintain one free account. Multiple accounts created to circumvent limits may be suspended.
Username
Your username forms part of your public URL (biozy.com/@username). Usernames must be 3–20 characters and contain only letters, numbers, and hyphens. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that are inactive, impersonating others, or violating these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Biozy to:
- Post or link to content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Spam, send unsolicited messages, or engage in phishing
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Collect data about other users without their consent
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from Biozy
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
Your content
Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you post to Biozy, including your profile information, links, images, and bio text.
License to Biozy
By posting content on Biozy, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content you post. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of user-generated content.
Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or its users.
Free plan
The free plan is provided "as is" with no guarantees of uptime or availability. We may change, limit, or discontinue free plan features at any time with reasonable notice.
The free plan is for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated. Commercial use on the free plan is permitted provided it does not involve high-volume automated operations or API abuse.
Pro plan and payments
Billing
Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the remaining period.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time Pro subscribers. Contact billing@biozy.com within 7 days of your first charge to request a refund.
Price changes
We will notify existing subscribers by email at least 30 days before any price increase.
Intellectual property
The Biozy name, logo, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Biozy. The design, code, and content of the Service (excluding user-generated content) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Biozy and its founders, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
Termination
By you
You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your public profile will be removed immediately.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we determine your use poses a risk to other users or the Service. We will attempt to provide notice unless prohibited by law.
Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
