Spotify, SoundCloud, merch, tour dates — how to structure your bio page when you have a lot to share and limited real estate.
Musicians have more platforms, products, and content types to link to than almost any other creator category. You've got streaming, social, merch, tour dates, music videos, SoundCloud, Bandcamp — and a bio page that can only hold so much before it becomes overwhelming.
The musician's hierarchy of links
Not all links are equal. For most musicians, this is the order that makes sense, though you should adjust based on what stage you're at in your career.
- 1. Latest release or music video — always first, always updated
- 2. Primary streaming platform (usually Spotify or Apple Music)
- 3. Newsletter or fan club signup — your most durable audience asset
- 4. Merch store — only if you're actively selling
- 5. Tour dates — only when you're on tour
- 6. Secondary platforms (SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube)
- 7. Social links — these belong in your social icons section, not as full links
Theme choice matters for musicians
The 'Musician' template was designed specifically for this use case — a warm dark aesthetic that feels premium without being corporate. The 'Electric' template works well for electronic and EDM. For acoustic or folk artists, 'Warm Sand' or 'Linen' can work well if your brand is more earthy.
Connect your Spotify once that integration ships — displaying your monthly listener count is one of the most powerful social proof signals available to a musician.
